Guangzhou Big Cubes 2014-Regulations

WCA Competition
This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations.
Regulations

All competitors must be aware of the notes below, before competition (Nov. 9th):


1) Be familiar with the requirements and regulations. The regulations of all events have been shown on the WCA website: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/

2) Sign in on the morning of Nov. 9th. No extra registration is given beyond the specified time.

3) Bring the identification materials, which may be need for checking your personal information when on registration.

4) Check the competitor list and remember your competitor number and the events you participate in.

5) While there are 30 minutes before your events, stay and wait at the venue until it starts.

6) If the given time of an event has passed, the competitors not waiting at the venue could not join the event any more.

7) Competitor should prepared their own puzzles for the competition,  and the organization team has no duty to offer any puzzles to competitors for the use.

8) Puzzles used in competition must follow the regulation of WCA, such as only one logo allowed on a puzzle, otherwise WCA Delegate may order competitor to stop using it and change an alternative one.

9) "Time limit" means that if the solving time exceeds time limit, the current solve is stopped and recorded as DNF. "Cut-off" means that at least one solving time of the first two solves fitting in the cut off line allow competitor to finish total five solves, or else the last three chances of solves will be canccelled. (The first solving time have to be fit in the cut off for 6x6, 7x7, or Megaminx.)

10) When the competitor in the waiting area is asked to compete in the competition area, he or she must enter the field to join instantly. The competitor who cannot start to compete in time will be disqualified in this event, such as being absent or the puzzle to be used is unsolved.

11) After each solve, the competitor must check the result and sign to confirm the validity of the score.

12) The results which are pre-signed on the sheet will be recorded as DNS.

13) If competitors have difficulties in attending the competition, please inform the organization team by email before the competition date. Those who have no reasons for the absence of competition will be marked on blacklist, and it would influence their later qualifications on registration in future competitions.
