WCA Competition

This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations.

Regulations

1. About registration:

To sign up, you need to register with China magic square.



Registration date: 20:00 on November 1 to 19:59:59 on December 1, 2019 is the first stage of registration, 20:00 on December 1 to 20:00 on December 17 is the second stage of registration, and 20:00 on December 14 to 20:00 on December 17 is the supplementary reporting stage. The second stage and the supplement stage are 1.5 times of the first stage. Application is not accepted within the time limit. Application is not accepted at the competition site.



Withdrawal: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded if the contestant applies for withdrawal before 20:00 on December 13; after withdrawal, the contestant will not be able to register for competition again.



Enrollment fee: payable enrollment fee = Basic enrollment fee + itemized enrollment fee. The basic enrollment fee is 100 yuan. The itemized enrollment fee depends on each item. You can click to view. Mainland players need to pay the registration fee through the online payment function of rough pie. Overseas players can pay the registration fee at the competition site. If you have any other payment problem, please contact the organizer by email.



Project supplement: competitors can complete the project supplement by themselves through the "project supplement" function of rough cake net, and the expenses of project supplement and the possible handling fees in the process shall be borne by the competitors; deadline for supplement: 20:00, December 17, 2019.



Item change: this competition will not accept the request of changing or deleting items, such as changing the fourth-order quick screw to the second-order quick screw. Also do not accept the request of competitor substitution, for example, to replace the qualification of successful competitor a with unregistered competitor B;



Contestants under the age of 18 must apply with the consent of their parents or guardians

This competition is limited to 200 participants.



2. About the competition:

The contestants can sign in at 8:00-16:00 on January 1, 2020. They must sign in by themselves and cannot be signed on behalf of others. When signing in, the contestants need to show the original of the contestant's ID card (ID card, household register, passport, Taiwan cell card, and return home card). After signing in, please keep the entry card properly. The organizer will not reissue it again. If it is lost, it will lose the qualification to participate in the competition or related subsequent projects. Those who fail to sign in at the specified time shall be deemed to be abandoned.



It is forbidden to run, fight or climb high places in the competition field to avoid accidents; it is not allowed to wear proper clothes and behave properly; it is not allowed to bring peanut, melon seeds and other hard shell food into the competition field;



Take good care of the public goods in and around the venue, abide by the rules and regulations of the venue; no pets are allowed to enter the venue;



Maintain politeness and kindness, respect other people's space and privacy, and do not show any unfriendly behaviors such as belittling, harassment, provocation or intimidation to others;



If you feel uncomfortable with some behaviors, you can report to the organizer;



Any political and religious symbols (such as the national flag) are not allowed to appear on the field. Thank all players, accompanying personnel and the audience for their cooperation.



Due to the limitation of the venue and the order of the venue, for the sake of safety, only one contestant under 12 years old (born after January 1, 2008) is allowed to enter the venue with an escort, and 10 yuan is required to be paid on the spot for the venue fee and certificate production fee. Please turn off the flash of your mobile phone, camera and other video and photo collection equipment after entering the competition field. Watch the competition in a civilized way. Please don't make any noise. Dangerous goods and food with heavy smell are not allowed in the competition field. If other personnel want to enter the competition field, they can purchase a limited number of attendance cards to enter the competition field, and are not allowed to enter the non competition area. 30 yuan / day for one person. In case of any violation of the order of the venue, the host team has the right to invite you out of the venue, cancel your qualification or attendance and confiscate your certificate. In order to provide a good environment and order for the contestants, I hope you understand and respect the decision of the host team.



3. About the players
The competitor shall ensure that the magic cube used meets the requirements of WCA rules and is ready to participate in the competition. Otherwise, he / she will be disqualified from participating in the project.



Please enter the venue 15 minutes before the start of each event, and prepare for the competition in the waiting area after the start of each event. If the waiting time of the event has expired at the same time when the waiting area is not available within the schedule time, the player will be deemed to give up this round of competition automatically and will no longer get the chance to participate in this round of competition.



The explanation about the reduction time limit and the passing line is as follows: the reduction time limit refers to the time limit beyond which the WCA representative and the referee have the right to stop the current competition and record DNF. Pass line: refers to the first two times of five restores of a contestant must enter the pass line at least once, otherwise there is no chance of the last three restores (the sixth and seventh levels are the first restores to the pass line).

Without the permission of the organizing committee, any organization or individual is not allowed to distribute materials, post promotional materials and other advertising activities in the venue.

Award setting

At present, there are three members in the official group, who can obtain certificates, medals, bonuses and prizes.

The third-order women's group and the new group can obtain certificates, medals, bonuses and prizes. Meanwhile, the U8 and U12 children's group can be set up to reward one first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes, which can obtain certificates, medals, bonuses and prizes.

Women's group, rookie group U8, U12 group are only based on the results of the third level preliminary competition. Among them:

The female group is limited to female players.

The new team is limited to those who have never participated in WCA competition.

U8 group is limited to players under the age of 8 (birth date is after January 1, 2012);

The U12 group is limited to players between the ages of 8 and 12 (born between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2009).

Note: the awarding ceremony shall be attended in person. Certificates, trophies and medals can be collected on behalf of the awarding ceremony, and bonus can not be collected on behalf of the awarding ceremony. Additional groups shall be subject to the results of the third level preliminary competition.

The final interpretation right of this competition belongs to the host team on the basis of not violating the relevant regulations of WCA. In case of conflict with the rules of WCA, the rules of WCA shall prevail.
