Since 2025, Cubing Audit Quality Assurance
Team (CAQA) has been officially established to be responsible for the pre-audit
and management of WCA and non-WCA competitions on the Cubing platform.
Competition organizers need to submit
competition-related materials to the CAQA (competitions@cubing.com) for review.
Application cycle:
WCA competitions: Organizers must contact
CAQA 60 days in advance and submit event applications 45 days in advance. The
competition must be publicized for at least 31 days;
Non-WCA competitions: Organizers must
submit event applications at least 31 days, and the competition must be
publicized for at least 14 days;
During the event publicity period,
organizers must complete event materials and preparations as required;
After the competition, the organizer must
submit the event summary report to the CAQA;
First quarter competition application
announcement application process:
Competition application submission time:
from now to March 5, 2025;
Competition application time: WCA
competitions held from February 15, 2025 to May 5, 2025 (affected by the
Chinese New Year holiday);
At this stage, the organizer must first
send the team introduction and competition plan to the CAQA for preliminary
review. After the review is passed, the organizer can fill in the competition
application in the background of Cubing.com;
Before the start of each quarter, CAQA will
announce the number of events that have been applied for and reviewed in the
previous quarter, and simultaneously release the specific time schedule for the
next quarter's WCA event application;
Application requirements:
Organizer team registration:
The organizer needs to complete the
registration of the Cubing.com Organizer team first. Please download (click
here to download) the "Cubingchina Registration Form for the Hosting
Team" and fill it out. After completing the completion, send the form and
related materials to the CAQA;
Event pre-review:
For WCA competitions, the organizer should
first submit the team introduction and event planning plan to the Cubing event
review group for pre-review. After the review is passed, the organizer can
submit the formal competition application in Cubing.com;

The submitted materials should be complete
and accurate to ensure that all information complies with the event
specifications;
