The CAQA is announcing the application timeline for competitions for the first quarter of 2026
All available competition slots for January and February 2026 have been fully allocated. Organizing teams are requested to submit applications for competitions planned to be held between March 1 and March 31 during the period from January 1 to February 8.
Applications submitted before this period will be reviewed starting from January 1.
Please note: It is recommended that all competitions be submitted at least 50 days in advance.
Starting in 2026, CAQA will gradually standardize the management of organizing teams to address issues such as unclear responsibilities and contributions within some teams. When submitting a competition application, organizers must also provide a complete member list using the latest version of the Cubing China Organizing Team Registration Form (click here to download).
Special reminder: To ensure competition quality and better distribution of resources, starting in 2026, each individual may join only one organizing team. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Organizers are advised to prepare application materials in advance according to the above schedule to ensure smooth submission. If you have any questions, please contact CAQA at competitions@cubing.com.
To facilitate the overall planning of competitions for 2026, organizing teams intending to host competitions are asked to submit their competition plans for 2026 (no detailed proposal required—only approximate dates, estimated number of competitors, and preliminary event outline). CAQA will coordinate competition dates based on overall demand.
Please download and complete the 2026 Cubing ChinaCompetition Application Plan Template (click here to download) and submit it to CAQA (competitions@cubing.com) by 23:59 on December 31, 2025.
Special Reminder: Each organizing team (other than established teams representing their respective cities) is allocated a base quota of one competition per year. If a team demonstrates outstanding performance in event organization, it may apply to CAQA for one additional competition quota.
