Yiheng Wang (王艺衡) won the Yancheng Open 2024 with an average of 4.85 seconds. Xuanyi Geng (耿暄一) finished second (4.92 seconds) and Zixuan Xu (徐子轩) finished third (5.82 seconds).

Since 2025, Cubing Audit Quality Assurance Team (CAQA) has been officially established to be responsible for the pre-audit and management of WCA and non-WCA competitions on the Cubing platform.
Competition organizers need to submit competition-related materials to the CAQA (competitions@cubing.com) for review.

Yiheng Wang (王艺衡) won the Hangzhou Open 2024 with an average of 4.54 seconds. Xuanyi Geng (耿暄一) finished second (5.08 seconds) and Ruihang Xu (许瑞航) finished third (5.30 seconds).

Lichi Fang (方力驰) won the FMC Cubing China 2024 with an average of 21.67 turns. Yiwei Liu (刘伊玮) finished second (22.33 turns) and Jibo Zhao (赵吉波) finished third (24.33 turns).

On the back of the very successful Newcomer Month initiative in 2024, the WCA Board has again approved a set of exceptions to the WCA Competition Requirements Policy for competitions taking place in the month of March 2025.
