Because of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, the WCA Board and the core organization team have decided to postpone the WCA World Championship to December 28-31, 2021.
We believe that the chances of carrying out the World Championship in July are decreasing. There is a good chance that in July at least some global restrictions caused by the pandemic will still be in force. A Championship in December 2021 means a postponement of 5 months. These months could be very crucial as far as the pandemic is concerned, and would make it much more likely that we can have a Championship in its own right.
Ruihang Xu (许瑞航) won the Guangzhou Good Afternoon 2020 with an average of 6.76 seconds. Weihao Kong (孔维浩) finished second (6.85 seconds) and Yusheng Du (杜宇生) finished third (7.53 seconds).

World records: Yunhao Lou (娄云皓) Clock 3.86 seconds (average).
Yezhen Han (韩业臻) won the Guangzhou Good Morning 2020 with an average of 7.31 seconds. Jiayu Wang (王佳宇) finished second (8.13 seconds) and Yiheng Wang (王艺衡) finished third (8.76 seconds).

Baiqiang Dong (董百强) won the Guangzhou 3x3 BLD and FMC 2020 with an average of 25.67 turns. Peiyan Li (利沛焰) finished second (29.33 turns) and Yan Luo (骆彦) finished third (32.33 turns).
